Some residents in Tamale confused of SC verdict

Many people in the Tamale metropolis appeared confused about the outcome of the Supreme Court (SC) verdict on the election petition while others claimed the court pronounced the verdict too fast without further details.
Miss Seidu Rahinatu, a resident in the Metropolis who spoke to Fiila News shortly after the verdict said she did not understand what the SC implied in their verdict and as a result tried consulting friends and colleagues to interpret the outcome.
She noted that the ruling should have been a little longer with further explanations to enable the public fully understand their rulings.
Wisdom Dapaah, another resident who  interacted with Fiila News said he was a bit surprise about the ruling of the Supreme Court.
For him looking at the evidence the petitioners presented was glaring in the face of every individual in the country.
The Supreme Court a while ago declared the current President of the Republic Mr. John Dramani Mahama as ‘validly elected’ and per the pronouncement, the political conditions in the country remains in its status quo.
However, prior to the verdict, many people in the metropolis remained indoors staying glued to their television sets while others listened to their radios to catch the latest news.
The police and the military apparatus were not also left out as they could be seen at every corner of the metropolis to ensure that nothing untoward occurs in breach of security situation.
