DCE PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR UDS
The District Chief Executive for East Manprusi, Adam Imoro has assured authorities and students of the University for Development Studies his persistent support to students who will embark on their Third Trimester Field Practical programme (TTFP) in his district.
The DCE said the good people of his district are ready to welcome the students to the district will all support and cooperation for them to embark on their field practical programme.
Hon. Imoro, a member of the Alumni Association of the University made this assurance in an exclusive interview with Fiila News at the 2nd National Congress dinner night of the alumni in Tamale over the weekend.
The DCE also called on members of the alumni to help uplift the image of the university by helping upcoming graduates to get employed to lift the image of the university high saying the sky is the limit for the university.
The East Manprusi district he said is endured with tourist attraction like the Gambaga witch camp, the Gamba escarpment among others with the hospital nature of citizens in the area.
In the area of peace, Hon. Imoro reassured students of his district being a haven of peace.
Hon. Imoro however advised that authorities should make proper consultation with the assemblies before dissemination of students to various districts.
The DCE lauded the initiative and called on the university authority to revamp the programme to meet the aim for the establishment of the university to bridge the teeming developmental gap between the north and the south for a better Ghana.
