As part of the 11th anniversary celebration of Melcom group of companies-Tamale branch, management of the company is to increase workers salary by 5 percent to ensure efficient delivery of service and enhance the morale of the workers in the company. The company since its establishment has been concern with the plight of workers and ensuring better working conditions in all areas of its jurisdiction. This was made known by the Tamale Branch Manager, Kapil Pathak at the 11th Anniversary celebration of the company. Mr. Kapil said as part of the anniversary celebration the company has a lot in stoke for their customers saying 10 percent discount for any item purchased in the Mall. According to the Manager, the anniversary sale is to show their unflinching gratitude to their cherished and loyal customers in the Metropolis and beyond. He therefore disclosed that the company has opened a new show room for furniture set, to meet customers demand. He urged all their loyal customers not to move anywhere but rather stay with Melcom for their shopping needs. He called on Ghanaians to fill their homes with the best of furniture, set, electronic appliances, garments, kitchenware, provision, personal-care items and enjoy huge savings from Melcom. The Marketing Manager of Melcom, Al-hassan Abdul-Gafaru was full of excitement on the disclosed increment of employees’ salaries in the company. He on behalf of the employees commended the management for their support and cooperation. Abdul-Gafaru was full of praise for the exceptional relationship between management and employee, which has enthused workers to live beyond expectation.
