Dr. Sagoe retires as CEO of TTH

The Chief Executive Officer of the Tamale Teaching Hospital Doctor Ken Sagoe has handover his tenure of office to Dr. Prosper Akanbong as acting Chief Executive Officer.
The Tenure of office of the CEO was supposed to elapse on today despites calls by opinion leaders and the sector ministry to maintain him on contract basis.
Meanwhile prior to his handing over several groups including the Concerned Citizens Association of Tamale was on his nerves to resign base on what they claimed was a gross incompetence and theft at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
In a handing over address, Dr. Ken Sagoe said he has retired compulsorily from public service and as Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital from 28th September.
He therefore thanked all stakeholders and collaborators in the hospital for their immense support during his five and half year tenure as the CEO of the Hospital.
Since assumption of office in 2007, the only referral center has received several facelifts ranging from infrastructural to personnel.
After his assumption of office as CEO, the hospital had only 23 doctors and has rose to 120 doctors as at the time Fiila News crosschecked at the hospital records.
Nursing strength has also seen a tremendous increase easing pressure on health workers in the hospital.
Confidential source close to Fiila News also revealed that the CEO has grabbed another reputable intuition outside the borders of the country to man its affairs.
