NPP YOUTH RUBBISHED CALLS OF REJECTION OF NANA AND ALAN

A matured youth wing of opposition New Patriotic Party called the Progressive Citizens of Tamale has rubbished calls for the rejection of Nana Akufo Addo and Mr. Alan Kyeremanteng at the August 7 delegates congress.
This was in response to calls made by another group called the Concerned NPP Youth in Tamale led by Alhaji Alhassan Mozeli who opted for Professor Frimpong Boateng with the assertion that the party will suffer another major electoral defeat in 2012 if Nana Addo or Alan Kyeremanteng is elected as the flag bearer.
Imoro Mohammed Polo, spokesperson of the Progressive Citizens Group in Tamale said the Concerned NPP Youth Group’s call underrated the intelligence of delegates who are discerning enough to make an informed decision on August 7.
He asserted that the news conference organized by the Concerned NPP Youth Group was financed by Professor Frimpong Boateng who has loss hope of making any inroad come August
According to Mohammed Polo, Professor Frimpong Boateng doled out GH 4,000 cedis to the organizers to cause mischief and therefore advised delegates to ignore such characters who he described as NPP’s enemies of progress.
The NPP Progressive Citizens Group encouraged delegates to retain Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo as the party’s flag bearer for victory 2012.
